Redan Recreation Center, Lithonia, GA – On Saturday, August 30, 2025, the Atlanta community is coming together in a powerful way for the 1st Annual Mental Health & Gun Violence Awareness Event, hosted at Redan Recreation Center (1839 Phillip Rd, Lithonia, GA 30058). This event, powered by Z&P Investments Charity, is a free-to-attend community gathering that aims to uplift, educate, and inspire positive change in the face of two of the nation’s most pressing crises: mental health and gun violence.
An Afternoon of Awareness, Unity & Empowerment
Doors open at 11:00 AM, with the official program running from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The event promises a powerful mix of motivational speakers, breakout sections, testimonies, and live streaming across platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok.
This is more than just a panel—it’s a movement designed to bring real solutions and foster connections among those affected, directly or indirectly, by mental health struggles and gun violence.
