RayDar University is an official 13-week artist development and music business education program designed to help musicians better understand their sound, image, performance and overall strategy.

Artists participating in the program receive weekly assessments with Daniels, sound development, strategy sessions and opportunities to create visual content, including a video shoot through his The Cut platform. The experience ultimately leads to one major test: performing live in front of Daniels and his industry peers at the Flight to Fame concert.

Over the weekend, that vision came to life.

Flight to Fame Put the Artists to the Test

The Flight to Fame event was high-energy from beginning to end, bringing together a distinguished lineup of rising artists who made one important decision—they were willing to bet on themselves.

One after another, the artists hit the stage ready to prove exactly what they had learned during their time at RayDar University. The development was visible. From confidence and stage presence to delivery and overall presentation, there was a noticeable level of intention behind the performances.

This wasn’t simply a showcase where artists performed and walked away. Daniels remained engaged throughout the evening, giving feedback and creating an environment where the performers could continue learning even while standing on stage.

Following each performance, Daniels presented the artists with a RayDar University plaque of completion, creating a full-circle moment for participants who had committed themselves to the 13-week process.

The experience also extended beyond the stage. A dedicated media room gave participating artists an opportunity to sit down with members of the press, sharpen their interview skills and gain additional exposure—another important piece of preparing an artist for the realities of the entertainment business.
